So the rule book says fish with no more than 4 poles and 2 hooks per pole my question is can u have more than 4 poles in the boat if fishing alone? I typically carry more in my boat than I fish with just in case I break one lose one etc.

I carry 8 trolling poles and 2 jig poles no matter how many people in the boat. The only bad thing is when the fish aren't biting good you want to put out the other 4 rods. Never done it but wanted too...lol

Ya'll ought to see some of the guys on Barnett. Crazy how many pol3es some of the folks run at times. I've had 8 out by myself when it's slow

I am a pole nut myself, but to lazy to put them out. 4 is the limit on the big four, but I will change them out for different fishing methods.
