Default Carried a young man fishing

I carried a young man-14- that his family doesn't fish, fishing yesterday. We started out pulling cranks at Enid for an hour, with no joy. We switched over to longlining. Thanks John for the lessons last week. He had a ball. He had never caught over 5-6 fish. We caught 100 crappie and one cat. He would go back when we had a lull and look at the keepers in the live well and touch them. It was a lot of fun watching him reel fish and see a big one coming to the boat.
He told his Mom his arms were tired from reeling. It was a great day all around.

His Dad owns land in 3 of the best hunting clubs in Ms, all behind the levee and hunts all over the US and Canada, but he does not fish. The kid gets to hunt land I can only dream about. He is a good kid and maybe I can get him into fishing.
