dump lake crappie
any body fishing dump lake for crappie anymore been years since i have seen the lake much less fished it we had a camp on the inside of the u when i was 8 or 9 i am 58 now and really miss those big cypress stumps and the blue gill i use to catch inside them hanging a lantern and night fishing crappie

Goodness, that brings back memories. When we lived in Jackson in the early 70's, my dad and I used to fish Dump lake! I remember some nice bluegill and crappie! Haven't seen the lake in 35 years or more. I would also like to know about the fishing there now.

south of the town of satartia ms. we use to take 433 out of bentonia over to hwy 3 go south to dixie farms rd over to it then go to levi rd around to the inside of the horse shoe we had the last camp down then we would put a boat in the yazoo river by the spill way of dump lake beside the oil well

when they built the levee they ruined it dump lake went down hill so we moved our trailer to bee lake

I had a duck lease inside the levee for a couple of years but gave it up. I looked at that lake every time I went by it and thought about trying the fishing. It always had a couple of boats on it, summer or winter. I haven’t been over there in 3-4 years since.
