Comparing striper(love it) fishing to Crappie fishing is like hunting deer with a 300 mag vs With Bow!!Striper fishing is fun,So is crappie fishing.

I avoid them if at all possible. They done broke my rods to many times. I got in some out there Saturday.. and some big ones.
    Luckily nothing got broke.
I left because after I broke a prop Thursday... and Friday morning realized the lower unit has something messed up in it also, my batteries died.. bought a new set because mine were going on 3 years old and that’s about the max lifespan for my batteries only to find out it’s my charger. One of the banks on my charger is not charging... so I left at 10:00 due to dead NEW batteries... when it rains it pours... no limit for me that day. I had 8-10 when I left.
Went to buy a new charger, but no one sells a 4 bank around here but RJ’s and by the time a finished trouble shooting they had closed.
So.. the fish are safe from me for a little while.. boat headed to RJ’s tomorrow for lower unit repair and then next week I’m off I’ll be fishing in Louisiana.. meanwhile.. y’all please thin out those stripes and leave a few crappie for me when I get back

Dee, we tried to thin them out today but they wouldn't cooperate. I drug bandits out 32 to 65 ft. For 6 hours today, 1.5 to 2.3 mph and didn't get a single taker. We did manage 8 hybrids, a couple big stripers, and a couple catfish. I don't know why I'm not catching crappie.
