    Default Just like that... It's all gone!


    Today started off foggy as all get out, and I was not sure if we could get across the Rez. But, we took off anyway... And, then it happened... My sunglasses decided to fly out of the neck of my shirt, causing me to turn to grab them as I saw them headed off the back of the boat. And then my cherished Crappie.com hat flew off, and out into the water...
    The glasses stopped on the back deck, but the hat sank just like that, leaving me exposed to the harsh sunlight which suddenly appeared out of nowhere...
    That must have been an omen, but we ignored the bad luck, and spent the next three hours soaking plastic and lead... Our efforts were not rewarded, and the sole crappie and one small cat looked mighty pitiful when I had to leave the lake!
    Lucky hat and mojo gone! I cannot believe it...

    Oh my goodness, I can attest to having some bad days on the Rex. It seems most of them have been weather related!

    That was the whole problem , Thump put a spell on the spot and Clifton ran through it . Saw thump reading up on spells at the library . I know the spell involved Bananas, an east wind and a broken hook

    I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH CLIFFORD LOOSING HIS MOJO AND HIS LUCKY HAT . HE WAS TRYING TO GET TO THAT SECRET SPOT BEFORE ME . HE DID BUT IT DIDN'T DO HIM ANY GOOD . DUE TO SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES I WAS MUCH LATER GETTING THERE . CLIFFORD HAD GONE BY THAT TIME 10:30 ISH . BUT I MADE UP FOR IT . I DIDN'T FIND NO C.C HAT EITHER . LOL

    To compound things, it appears that the Crappie.com store is closed toll June 14th, which means no new hat, for now... I must consult the shaman! He may be able to retrieve my mojo....

    I always carry an extra hat in a storage compartment just for such an emergency. I learned this from personal experience.
