Apparently, they didn't change the overall possession limit?
Rule changes were also made at Lake Washington and Moon Lake. The changes for Lake Washington prohibit anglers from possessing crappie under the 11-inch minimum length limit and black bass under the 15-inch minimum length limit. The daily creel limit will remain 30 crappie per angler and 5 black bass per angler. The regulation change also prohibits anglers from possessing crappie under 11 inches and bass under 15 inches if they are in Paul Love Park or on the weir in the outlet channel. At Moon Lake, the change prohibits anglers from possessing crappie under the 10-inch minimum length limit. The daily creel limit will remain 30 crappie per angler.
All rule changes become effective on May 28, 2018.

If the Game & Fish wanted to act ugly, the small fish caught on yo-yos that were pulled out of the water, and dried out over
night, would have to be thrown back if they were under 11". If they caused the demise of the small crappie and threw it back
they have committed wanton waste. Ticket either way you go.
Tell'em I'll be there.
Until the state has the man power to enforce it, it’s like a lock. Keeps an honest man honest. I’ve quit keeping fish when I go to Washington. Try to leave some for seed. I’d be a hypocrite to call for rule changes and continue to do the same thing. We can self regulate as anglers, but it’s hard for guides to tell clients they can’t fish within the law...
Just to explain myself, I’m not saying guides are the issue. Lack of enforcement for many anglers both local and otherwise take a lot of fish out of this lake.... it needs some help

The Biggest problem is with Yo yo's in March and April !!! They run them in shifts 24 - 7 for them 2 months and fill them Freezers in the Back of their Trucks !!! I have heard several say they were catching better than a 100 a day !!!!

Yo yo's may play some part in it but I really doubt that they hurt it that bad. Just about everyday in march and April that lake has 75 boats on it trolling or jig fishing, if each boat catches 15 fish per day per boat that's 1125 fish kept per day and 33750 kept per month which I would say is a reasonable number some boats more some less. I personally think that lake Washington should adopt the COE rules of 15 per day over 12.
