    Default Grenada lake

Fished Grenada lake for the first time Thursday, the lake was very muddy, but a very beautiful place, didn’t see anyone catching any fish at the spillway, we found a spot at a picnic area, where we could fish with minnows under a float, I never got a bit, my wife caught one good size crappie, and it tore loose as she tried lifting it up the bank from the water, as we were leaving, down below the dam some equipment was clearing a strip of land, and some boys were fishing what looked like a swamp, I stopped and walked over where they were fishing, it was to muddy for my wife to fish there, as she don’t like standing in mud ankle deep to fish, but the guys fishing said you wouldn’t know the water was there until the land was cleared, the water was very shallow but they had some black crappie in a 5 gallon bucket, and the water was clear compared to the lake. I’ll give it another try but from my boat. Name: IMG_4657.jpg
