Default Chickasaw Hill question for you Enid Pros

Looking at a fish shack/cabin in the Chickasaw Hill area of Enid. I am not familiar with that side of the lake. Is that ramp usable year round? What about the area? Are folks around there nice and quiet? Not looking for a bunch of party animals (anymore!) Any unsolved crime sprees? You know what I mean? I hate a thief..............

Any input would be appreciated, There are a couple of options in the area I am looking at............................

Not a pro by any means, but have launched there several times over the last 20 years. Good ramp, but not sure what lowest lake level would allow launching and winter pool would definitely be out. Stiff southerly winds could make things a little difficult. Me and the wife looked at something there you're talking about a few years ago but can't help you on the "neighborhood". Maybe someone else will chime in. GOOD LUCK!

Quiet for the most part and the ramp can be used at fairly low water levels. Keep in mind, a lot of people come in and out of there to ride 4 wheelers when the water is lower.

Not many problems there . to many local home owners near by. Sheriff patrols are through there after midnight . RANGERS TILL THEN . 80 % of trouble occurs at Bynum, plum point, and wildcats (Dean hill now ) . Not sure about the new one at spy glass hill on Silo/guest creek . 20 % CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE !

Do any of our members live/ have camps in that area. I’m looking at a place on Chickasaw Road tomorrow afternoon.

Not looking to live there. Probably wouldn’t be up there much during winter pool. Ducks and deer get my attention during that part of the year...
