    Default Barnett 4/2


    Caught 21 good fish today and lost probably 10 really good fish and several other smalls and probably caught 25 to 30 that I threw back. This was by far my best day of the year and I will tell you they ain’t spawning yet. Pics to follow tomorrow when I clean them I’m icing them down for the night

    Good job, Jimmy! Yall are the only ones catching fish down there, or at least, the only ones that are reporting!! May have to take a trip waaay down South for you to put me on some fish!!

    They aren’t spawning yet? I caught a few black males from the bank off of rip rap at the end of last week. Were they just scouting bed sites?

    Good report! Congrats on a great catch. I agree they are not spawning yet. Caught some Friday in a foot of water. Couldn't get a bite shallow on Sunday. Had to back off to the nearest deep water. I had 22 fish with only 3 being male. This is the time of year they are here today/gone tomorrow in the shallows.
