Years ago I did a lot of it off the bridges during the summer. The key was no wind so the lights could bring in the bugs, thus the bait fish and slabs under them.

I met a guy coming out of Grenada this morning from La. and told me he did a lot of spyder rigging down there at night. He had 2 looked like LED light bars on the front of his boat to see the rod tips.
Anyone tried that on the big 4?

I would really like to try this in the heat of the summer, used to be a blast decades ago.
Would I actually find others out there?
Are there any additional rules I have to worry about?
Are ramps safe at night?
Is lake safe from speeding bass boats in the dark?
I hear green lights are now the thing, used to be Coleman Lanterns.
I did search in forum, founds hits but nothing that seemed current.
Thanks
