OK, so I look about three times a year for the river stages by clicking the thread on the site....."page cannot be displayed". Thought some genius here would have figured that out by now or replaced with a workable site. Where can I get this info as easily as before? Thx

I don't have a clue whats wrong....sometimes the links work sometimes they dont. I checked every link on the sticky thread this morning and some work and some do not. A few weeks ago when I checked they all worked.

Its on the COE end, sometimes you have to put it in manually instead of clicking on the link.

Thats right and sometimes manually does not work either because they are having site problems and their sites will not respond.

Whether you click on one of those links or whether you type it in manually does not matter. Most all the links in that thread are to an army.mil (US military) site and when it's down, those links won't work. It has nothing to do with crappie.com. It's a guberment problem. Also, a bunch of those links point to the FTP server protocol, so their FTP server (ftp) may be down but their WEB server (http) may be up. So I'd try Crays link in that case because it goes to the Guberments Web service which is more likely to be up than their FTP service: http://www.mvk-wc.usace.army.mil/docs/bullet.txt
Or Boatbottoms link which is Web and not FTP as well: Rivergages.com: Providing River Gage Data for Rivers, Streams and Tributaries which goes to http: //rivergages.mvr.usace.army.mil/WaterControl/new/layout.cfm
