Thats the reason I put it here, Minn Kota needs to fix this, if the trolling motor is in doubt where it si, loses signal, then it should shut down. Ramping up to high and hauling butt aint good!!!Originally Posted by footballcoach

The first time that happened to me I thought something was wrong with the trolling motor, and I guess there is, but the second time it dawned on me that the bridge might be blocking the signal. But my real question is, why the crap does it always go straight to high speed and straight toward the concrete? I mean both times it had a lot more area that wasn't concrete to head toward but no sir, it heads straight to the pilings.
