Well, Rees is a smart man. By going to 16 footers he can take you fishing several times. Trip one, 16 foot to 14 foot. Trip two, 14 foot to 12 foot. Trip three, 12 foot to ???

Had a client this spring who turned TWO of my SCR143Ts from 14s to 8s in less than an hour. Telling him to not drop that power troll rig in front of my RipTide just didn't get thru the 1st time. They had braid on also so I got to take the TM prop off both times.

I got paid by the hour that day.

Ed is yet to build a rod that can stand up to being would up in a 112 pound TM with braid line. I'll bet he's working on one though. I will say the pieces of both 143Ts were longer than the competitors' rod would have been.
