    Default Butla...

Drove down to look around about 11am Saturday...Quite a few boats out...with most that I saw fishing the grass just north of dam. Must be a few being caught for that many sitting out in 95 heat. A couple of brave souls w/o even an umbrella! Yikes.

Yeah maybe not, my guess just hard headed! I spoke to an ole school jig man today from Butla, said he went to another lake last weekend and he was glad to finally feel a thump, brought home 7, but felt 25 or so!! Who knows tho, could be flat out killin' them, but bet they ain't coming easy no more!

Come on up. I'll ride you around and you can show me how easy it is. We might even get Slabbin to go along.

I can tell you this about butla if you think your a crappie fisherman come and get some if you can catch fish at butla on a regular basis then I will call you a crappie man. I can tell you this also you can throw the crappie fishing handbook out when you go over the coldwater river cause it won't do you a bit of good on butla and everything you know about river channels. Ledges and drop offs don't mean nothing I have caught fish when it's 110 degrees in 8 foot of water 5 feet deep. So come and get some of this beast
