A snakehead was found in a state park lake here near me and I think they either drained the lake or shocked everything up to make sure there were no more, then a year or so later there was a leak in the damn and they had to either drain it or drop the water level considerably to repair it. Lake used to be a decent bass lake but has never been the same since.
I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

A biologist from MS. G & F confirmed it was a snakehead below is a link to a 2010 article detailing how this happened.

We used to target them specifically when I lived in FL. Heck of a fight on a rod and reel. It is true that they are not prolific spawning fish BUT snakeheads ARE prolific eaters. They can really destroy an ecosystem worse than the carp or other undesirables combined. They eat EVERYTHING. And can live out of water for a very long time.
