    We all love to take young adults fishing. This young man is Jonathan, a self confessed die hard bass fisherman...

    I get as much enjoyment watching their excitement over catching big crappie as I do
    over me catching big crappie.

    It took a while to find fish this evening but we eventually did find some.
    He kept repeating how he has never seen crappie this big.

    He told me that he was hung up on his first bite. I had to tell him to grab the net and keep pulling... I'll never forget that moment he discovered he had a big slab on the end of his line...

    We struck out in the stake beds... the old familiar gravel pit never fails... I really wanted him to catch some crappie...
