Default Grenada Family fishing trip this week

    HI
New member here so this my first post.

Planning to arrive at Grenada Tue. with family. Even my 80 year old mother is going to fish with us. I was hoping that some one could give us a little information on what the fish are doing now.

Are the fish Spawning or is it Post spawn?

Some areas that we may catch some fish and some tips for fishing on Grenada, would love to see mom with a 3lb crappie on the end of here line!!

    Thanks in advance

Main thing I can tell you is to be careful, Scuna side does not even have a usable ramp. I fished her today for the first time in a month and she was tuff. Good luck to mom, sure hopes she gets a good en!!!!

From what I've heard there laying down there. 5-6' water is key. Single pole. This week will be spot on with the big 4.

Went Saturday to the Yalobusha side. It was a very tough day spider rigging and we fished hard.

I went Saturday and Sunday. Saturday wasn't good and Sunday was worse.
I did catch some nice ones, just not many.
They are moving shallow to spawn, just very slowly.
Like Rees said, be careful, the water is pretty low, but there is virtually no place to get out of the wind.

Go up in Perry Creek near the dam and fish the structure in the flat near the creek channel. IF THE WIND WILL LET YOU.

Didn't work out for us today, tried to head to Bryant area and ended up having to push the boat. SHALLOW!! lost my shoes in the mud fell in a hole, only got to fish hour or so. Need waders or small draft boat to get to the fish.
Going this afternoon and fish from the bank. Will try again in the morning in deeper water.
