    Default Landing Net

I'm looking for a net that I can easily reach fish when fishing with 16ft poles, with 3ft of line out. Currently I have the biggest one EGO makes and it's a great net, but a little heavy for my wife. Looking to sell it soon. Any info on a 12-14ft landing net would be appreciated. I've heard of Jenko's 12 fter, but that it's a little flimsy.

    Thanks,
    W

The Jenko is not a little flimsy it's a wimp, asking a 17 oz net to hold and lift a 32 oz fish is asking too much.
The Crappie Master Bill sells is a great net but it is fairly heavy, doubles as a push like very well

BRM nets are too heavy for me. Going to try Jenko's. If you want one like BRM I will sell you one real cheap.

I like the ones BRM sales also. Slip you a piece of pool noodle in there and float it right out there to the fish.
aint never measured it but but it extends far enough you can net others people fish for them also this time of year in Barnett! LOL

Pretty good comparison here, 3.5lb brick in both.
In the second pic the Jenko is beside the CM and they were level with each other before I put the brick in the CM.

I have an ego and a brm. I use the brm in a tournament only, heavy. Use the ego or nothing all other times.

I took my Ego net, cut it at the first tightening joint.
Then I had an aluminum painters collapsable pole that was 8ft.
Cut the male threads off, crinkled the Ego end just enough to begin sliding into the end of the painters pole.
After a few minutes I had worked it in several inches. Drilled one hole on each side and used stainless rivets.
Best net I've ever had, and less than either net mentioned.
