That pic was taken at Engineers Point it looks like.

Here are a couple sites you might want to check out before deciding to launch at Holiday lodge (Teckville). I think they may have done some dredging in the last couple of years to make it easier to launch in low water conditions but if you are not familiar with the lake you might want to look at some of the other ramps.

Vicksburg District > Missions > Recreation > Sardis Lake > Sardis Lake Recreation

Vicksburg District > Missions > Recreation > Lake Levels

***I have not been to Sardis yet this year so the ramps at Holiday lodge may be perfectly fine to launch from right now.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

I'm not from MS, but I have an idea, business proposition, or whatever. You MS guys rent your homes to out of staters for $1500/night for March and April. You can't get to the ramp anyway. Come to East TN, enjoy the mountains, and catch some slightly smaller crappie, but you will find parking. Return home in May, and start pulling cranks. Less crowds, bigger fish, plus you enjoyed our beauty and made some major cash! Win, win! Oh, my idea, and I get 10%!

That is a great idea! This year looks like the circus has come to town at all of the big four lakes. Not just Sardis. Nothin you can do except jump in the crowd and hang on.

Feels like a circus here in Florida in the Winter. Every other car/truck on the road is from out of state. Same thing at the ramps. Just have to grin and bear it. I used to be an out of stater here too. Now I say to myself, well as long as you bring your money, we're good. No state income tax here! love it - that and I feel like I'm always on vacation here, especially when I get visitors from IL, IN, MS, MO and MI. Always something going on.
