    Default High Visibility Line

Who sells a high visibility crappie fishing line. I have not tried the crappie Maxx line. I have some left over that is good low memory line, but the name has worn off and my searches are coming up empty. Maybe a better question is if anybody has used the crappie maxx and how does it work casting light jigs. Memory and such.

Have not searched vicious, been hitting suffix and stren and some bass pro stuff and general searches, but the Vicious never came up.

Like stren myself, had good luck with crappie maxx, vicious- think I got a bad spool. Tied 1 knot out of 4 that didn't break. Lost 1 fish due to break off and ditched it all. Was 3 years ago, so may have been a QC issue but has me gun shy. they used to sell real cheap to our bass team but I still used other brands

Crappie Maxx line isn't bad for what you pay for it, it nicks a bit easier more so than your more expensive line IMO. I bought two 2,040yd spools of Crappie Maxx in 6lb mono, one spool hi vis and the other camouflage, the camo was absolutely horrible, couldn't even tie a knot without breaking. Not sure if it is weakened in how they color the line or if I just got an old spool, maybe been sitting a while. I pulled cranks with the 6lb crappie maxx hi viz all last year with very little problems, and casting it does fairly well, although I rarely cast straight jigs, so not much help. Vicious is good line and only a little more in cost.

I have not had good luck with crappie max. I usually use Stren gold or Big game solar green

Most all of the above lines will break, if you do not moisten before you pull knot tight. It is imperative or the knot will break easily. I prefer Stren Gold for my mono line. P.S - Don't hook yourself in the mouth doing that. IT HURTS!
