Default Behold...... the time has come

Been awhile since my original post about coming down to Mississippi for the first time, but this is the weekend! I'm leaving on Sunday morning for the 8-9 hour drive and plan on being on the waters of Lake Washington first thing Monday morning. I was hoping to see a few more reports to find out what the fish are doing but also see they just had a tournament there about a week ago..... totally understand how it gets when money is on the line! Now that things have slowed down, would anyone be willing to share a few things with me? Not looking for the honey hole but just a general all around what to expect with the weather patterns you've had.... current part of the spawn there in if any.... open water fishing or stay in the trees..... jigs, minnows, and special color thats gettin em. ANY HELP is appreciated and maybe I'll see ya out there. Thanks guys

Imagine it's been pretty slow down there this week after the pressure of the tourney, the cold fronts we have had and barometer going crazy. Weather supposed to make a turn for the better on Monday. Should have a pretty decent week. I would say be prepared for anything. That water warms a little and weather stable should be plenty of males move shallow into the trees. Would not forgo some rigging in the deeper water either. Have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Son went Monday-Wednesday. Caught em purty good Mon afternoon deep. They shut down tues-wed. He didn't try the trees but fished all depths. It will be a lot better next week with warming trend.

Have heard a few fish being caught in the trees and a few caught trolling. I haven't been in two weeks so I can't say from experience
