I guess they want to be separate. There were a few that would post when there was a north east MS crappie.com page here.
I could say more, I'll leave it at that.

Well thanks anyway don't really know what you are referring to I hadn't been on here very long and haven't never seen a north east MS page maybe there's no crappie down there anymore.
wish I could help more, I havent fished out of rose trail since last summer and I was pulling cranks.....directly across the lake from rose trail there is a hollow over there that I caught several fish in i would make a big loop to the back and work my way back to the mouth and picked up several.....just past the mouth of that hollow the old river channel is close by

We fished out of Mills Creek Marina a few years ago. Was told to go across Bear creek and line up with the house with the blue roof which is down stream from Rose Trail. Set up about 100 to 150 feet from shore. Troll between 15 and 20 ft deep or long line the area.
We left the marina with calm water, got to the area and lowered our lines with a little wave action. I caught 2 10" crappie within 15/20 minutes. Then Debbie caught one. That's when I turned around and saw the white caps headed our way. We pulled our lines up and headed to the marina. The water was rolling pretty good by that time. Seems to have taken an hour to get back.
