    Default Ultrex question

Someone that knows or has one please answer me this: Ultrex is an I-pilot that can be controlled with a remote AND a cable drive at the same time? Do you have to unhook the foot control to use remote control ipilot functions? Someone give us a review on this tm.

Don't think you have to unhook anything, it's either or. Gonna be a bunch of these sold but see no need for one the way I fish. Now, an Ulterra ILink Gen2, that's another story. Got to sell the one I have first tho.

Mounted one on my tin boat, but haven't used it yet. Should be the best of both worlds for single polers and trollers.

That is what I was thinking. I used to really enjoy single polling sometimes, but it is hard to do with the terrova.

I like single poles with the Terrova but I been using an electric drive minn kota since they came out in the 80s, 36 lb thrust I think with a maximizer, could bass fish all week long!!!!

You need to try one.not nearly as noise as ulterra. Don't have to do anything step on peddle to override remote. Really like mine.
    Fish hard live hard.

I got one and used it. It is exactly what I been saying minnkota needed to make for years. No more swapping out trolling motors. Im extremely pleased.
