Enid , it is smaller and should warm quicker . Brush Piles on a state lake should be even better . I know they bite in cold water but fish seem to scatter more as water warms . Find the fish in cold water and it's game on , my problem single pole fishing it is hard to consistently cash in on the mother load .Scattered fish are easier to pattern to me . Wallace creek would be my target .

The water temps at Enid and Sardis are about 53F. Rees is correct the lowest I've seen this winter is about 42F, and that was during he cold snap a couple weeks ago.

    Default Arkabulta Sardis or Enid

    Enid.

Warren Cotton and I fished Sardis yesterday in both of our boats. He and his partner caught 1 keeper and we had 2. Talked to 2-3 other boats and friends that only had 1-2. One of my friends that I saw yesterday also fished it Saturday. He and his wife only caught 6 shorts all day.

Ended up going to Sardis. Bait store was sold out of minnows. Went down to lower lake and put in. Got the single pole out and Jigged a few tops out in deep water, jig a few tops in shallow water. Caught one little bass. Was fun just being out. Thanks guys. Better luck next weekend
