    Default 7/28/2017 Archusa report

Well I didn't go to the Crankfest( hope maybe one of these days I can) but I did catch a limit(30) this morning on my little lake (Archusa Creek reservoir) this morning. I found them yesterday and when back this morning and did well. Fished from 5:30 am to 9:30 am. 87°water temp. 75°-85° weather temp. wind calm to a light breeze from the west. I will be looking forward to seeing everyone's fishing reports and pictures. The fish have or seem to be schooling up and in deeper water now.

30 in 4 hours, you were a busy man! Great catch, you really got them figured out down there.

The fish were in 12' to 13' water 7' deep right out in the middle of the lake. This lake is a shallow water lake with not very many places that are deeper than this. Deepest holes in in the middle of the old creek run which is about 19'-25' at the deepest places.

Thanks bud. I used to spend a lot of time on that lake. Just haven't been back since the rebuild.
