I know you don't want to hear this, but Enid! May not catch a keeper, but you'll catch a lot of shorts!
I have been fishing Grenada and Enid all my life. I am used to the "size limit" and enjoy catching a few slabs. But, I have a grandson who is just about ready to start fishing, and I want to take him fishing where we can catch quantity over quality. Most of the delta lakes don't seem to be what they were when I was a kid. The boat ramp at Mathew's Break is so full of lillies you cant launch. Last time I went to Little Eagle, a durned alligator was sunning on the boat ramp and refused to move away!
What would you say is the best lake in North Mississippi for catching a bunch of 9-12 inch crappie?

Matthews Brake used to be great before the grass. I used to love fishing Horseshoe, lots of fish trolling. Don't know about the grass situation, though. Another one to consider is Mossy Lake.............it used to be great.
Man if you wanna catch numbers you need to make a weekend trip to Nimrod! Im hearing of huge numbers coming from there. May not catch any 12 inchers but the small ones will bend that pole too! Be right up a kids ally!
Davis lake! For numbers no size!

Montgomery County
Lake Washington
What's wrong with catching numbers on your home lakes? Hundred fish per day isn't unusual on either, especially now.
