Default 2nd experience with crank baits

Went this afternoon to practice pulling and pushing crank baitS. I used a 3 ounce weight and pushed two and pulled 4. I tried various depths and speeds and so far the Crappie have nothing to fear from me. The catfish on the other hand might want to be nervous

Plus it's still early in the crankbait season. The hotter the better for cranking.

Agree 100%! Also, when the water clears up will help also. I like clearer water for cranks.

I have found......it's hard to get a bite if you're not putting the bait in front of the fish. Most of us would rather blame the fish rather than ourselves.
