Thanks Broharrell and blueball, the are in Indian Creek now. I was there about this same time last year and they are trying my old pattern but struggling. Thanks for the advise! Any idea how deep they are with the cold front and rain??

Pickwick is really tough right now for me, caught a few on Hair jigs, Red and green seen to be the best for me, most fish I have caught are in anywhere from 11 to 14 ft deep, I'm longline trolling the flats in Bear creek.

I spent 5 days on Bear camping Easter week. Three of us caught about 100 total in 5 days. I have friends that have been camped there for almost a month and they are not doing well. very disapointing for Bear Creek in late march as we have been doing this for 20 years. I went back last Thursday and fished up to Saturday morning. Heavy rain and wind was a problem and only got 15 fish total in two days. Some of the best fisherment on Bear are struggling right now. We are starting to think it may be an off year due to poor spawns 4 to 5 years ago. We are catching lost of small fish under 10" (throw backs). We are trolling shallow and deep water.

I second the missing spawns/age class of fish at pickwick. Fished up there a couple of times last month. We caught a few big fish and then a ton of little fish. The fish I found were deep 14 to 18 on a ledge closer to deeper water. The water was 59 degrees 9 days ago. We fished yellow creek.
