Thanks for the report! They are few and far between anymore.
Fished from 10 am to 6:30. First thing is that the lake was pretty empty for this time of year. I expected not to have a parking spot, but Engineers Point wasn't even half full. The water was brown but clearing up. I have caught crappie in muddier water at Sardis before. When I first looked at the temp it was showing right at 60. I first went to Clear Creek I fished from the the first secondary point on the west side all the way in to the clump of trees on the east side and that channel past them. I don't use Minnows so was just using tandem jigs. Fished from 14 ft to 4 ft. Caught two dinks. By the time I was leaving Clear Creek at 4 the temp was about 62. I decided to give the north side a shot and fished from Wilborn Creek to Lespedeza Point. The water temp was running 64 on the North Side at that time. Not a bite.
Someone might of tore em up today, but it wasn't me. I didn't see anyone staying put in an area so I don't think there was much happening.

Me and wife headed down to Sardis this next weekend. We always go to Sardis every year. Sometimes we do good sometimes not so good but better than work. Put in at teckville landing and just head towards piney point area. Love reading these posts on here they are really helpful.
I fished sardis Saturday from 7 to 4 and left with 12 all real black males and 2 females full of eggs fishing 3 to 4 ft water temp was 57 degrees I don't understand where they are. I had to fish hard for them and I only single pole fish. I heard 3 groups caught 30 Saturday morning but I don't know where.
