If your boat will let you do it, follow one of them creeks back far as you can and fish the standing stuff off the channel. The shallower you can get the better.
It was a nice day yesterday, so I decided to take a boat tour. Lots and lots of water everywhere, most roads that dead end into lake are under water. Lot of fields flooded 3 – 12 feet of water in fields as well as water backed up way into the woods. Talked to several people who said they heard of isolated catches from folks wading in woods, I did not see the fish. Any thoughts on fishing in flooded conditions. Pleasant Hill Ramp closed until further notice, ramp under water and backed way up into the parking lot.

We fished out there yesterday afternoon (in a boat) and it was a complete bust.. listen to cray light boat far back into shallow water.. went in a few places back deep as far as we could go still we're in 6' of water or better and difficult to get into that.
And I put in last Sunday at pleasant Hill before they got a chance to close it.. it wasn't that bad if you knew where the ramp was from memory cause it sure wasn't visible :-)
I went out last 3 days. Went as far back in the creeks I could get and was a bust all 3 days. I have lines out that are doing good but that's all you going to do on butla right now.
