    Default Question for you waders

How do y'all carry minnows with you while you're wading?

I've tried plastic baggies, water bottles, and yesterday I lugged a minnow bucket (a dang fine one given to me by JimmyDee a few years back...thanks again Jimmy it is still doing a wonderful job) around with me. Nothing I've tried yet is anywhere near what I'd called satisfactory. So I'm in the market for a new idea.

Rarely fish with minners when wading but there are 2 things that work very well, first is a wading minner bucket, metal with a strap, oval shaped about 12 inches tall, lid have holes in it so you can freshen the water very easy. The other is a float, such as a tube or a big piece of styrofoam to put a regular minner bucket in, just tie it to ya and drag it along.

I think it must be my cheap nature that I didn't even consider checking to see if there was something I could buy designed for the purpose! I was looking to rig up something. I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

When I was stationed on the coast years ago I did a lot of wading for specs and red fish. I used the one Oxbow listed for holding life shrimp or baby mullet. Follows along real well and not likely to get hung up.

I really like the price of this idea right here cause my wife has some of them laying around the house.

Thanks fellows. These are good suggestions.

    Wow. It just hit me!

Pantyhose. I stole a pair of my wife's last summer to hold some chicken liver on my catfish hook. I bet that'll work like a doozy for this too.
