I haven't posted much on this forum as I mainly post on my local forum Ohio Game Fishing under deerfarmer. I'm not a tournament fisherman but manage to catch some fish. The two lakes I fish here in central Ohio is Alum Creek and Buckeye and I'd be happy to share info about those lakes. It is my belief fishing forums are for fishermen helping other fishermen.
If you're planning on mid-March, you need to pick some dates and book your lodging. Lodging fills up fast down here that time of year. Alot of guys from IL, MO, IN come down every year. As for as depth and color, I don't think anybody can answer that for you right now! Grenada and the other Corps are flood control reservoirs and the water rises and falls with rainfall like a roller coaster. Just watch this Board and try to glean any info you can from fishing reports, and there will be some, hopefully. Main thing if you're serious about coming, better get your lodging set up.

Spring of the year and everyone is coming regardless. I always try to get good info before I go fishing. For some lakes like barnett and Washington I'll call the bait shops. Sometimes friends, sometimes the crappie board. Over the years I hold great admiration for those fishermen that are always ready to help. It means even more to those traveling a long way. Fish are biting are nice words and doesn't give away my hotspots. Sure it gets crowded but sho is fun.

I booked a cabin at hambones for the 17 18 and 19 it appears there is a restaurant and carryout close. It appears that looking at the lake from google earth that launching at the graysport ramp could be interesting if he water level is low. Can anyone give any info on launching at graysport in low water. Thanks

I wanted to check out Young's landing since I was close. I checked the spillway instead.
Post #46 was at North Graysport Landing.
