    Default Granada Lake first time

My son and I are planning a trip to Granada Lake the last week in February. Any pointers or tips would be appreciated. Lodging and areas of the lake to concentrate on. Thanks

Go to Lake Washington or delay your trip by at least 2 weeks, maybe 3 or 4. As far as lodging, Hambone's is good and close to a lot of popular water in the spring.

What Rees said, and I'd add another suggestion. GET a guide for the first day. You'll be fun and money ahead if you do. Plenty on here, or PM Rees....he'll get you hooked up. Make up your mind in a hurry though...they book up REAL quick, if not already. The Washington idea is spot on, from my perspective.....you'll be a little early for Granada or any of the Big Four, actually. Unless, of course, this stewpit weather keeps actin a fool.

And baw, says you joined in 2012 and have ONLY 21 posts. You'd better step up your game a little, or the "post police" will fine you. It's usually a lunch with Wannabe....bout as harsh as it can get.

He sure does...lol. And he's scared to death about this new venture, just hopeing he has what it takes to be successful and show folks a " Goodtime " on the water.

I predict they will have a "Goodtime" even if no fish are caught!
