Lot's of wading on Grenada, even more if you got a 4 wheeler. I haven't waded at sardis, enid, or butla but I know they do.
Buddies and I are thinking about taking a trip down there to do some of the crappie fishing. Any help will be appreciated. No boats, we will be on shore and if allowed wading. No spots needed, but more on which lake would be better for those techniques. Thanks and hope to hook up with some big slabs this feb/march.

Mostly depends on the water level when you come. But grenada would work. You can drive to alot of places to wade... If you stay at hambones in goresprings you would be rite there close to the fishing.
Grenada is usually a week to a week and a half before butla for good wading. Bank fishing in the spillway at butla is usually good in Elbow creek and sometimes farther down the river. Check the rules for size length below the dams and how far down each river they apply.
