What are the current limits?
I disagree, it will affect the person who doesnt get on the water much due to work or whatever way more than it will a guide, he's suppose to know where they are or at least where the best chance of catching them is. Its all fishing man, not catching. I was against it but it is what it is now so time to roll with it, doubt it will ever go back up but we will give it a shot in 18 months or so, doubt very serious anything would happen next year.

The Sardis changes didn't last too long. Maybe this will fix whatever problem they see and they will change it back in a couple years. No matter what, I will try to make a trip or two a year from Illinois!
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!
Was down this weekend. Water looks really bad. Usually it's nice and green this time of the year. Was brown not muddy brown , just ditch water brown.
Wish they would've let you keep 5 any size , 12" for the others. I like to eat a whole fish every once and a while. Catch them somewhere else.
If they are doing this to keep from over harvesting, then why don't they go back to stocking the big 4? They claim it is not needed because the populations are self sustaining, if so then why lower the limit. I would really like to see the stocking program reinstated.
