Default Need a better weather report before I go fishin.

Sick no tired of watching the weather channels reports .. Went fishing today and the weather channel said 5-10 mph winds today at best... musta been 15-25 with 4 ft rollers by 10 am today,, I have whiplash from rolling back to the ramp, Only brought home 1 keeper and several stripes that quickly returned back into the water,,,, Just too much wind to fish.... Any suggestions on what to watch for up to date wind, weather reports that are close to being right?

I use weather.gov . Hit the map once at the lake location and then and then again when the map refreshes. You will have a forecast then for the location. Down at the bottom choose tabular forecast. The wind will be by the hour and direction. It's the most accurate weather I have found.

Correct, me too. Updated continuously by NOAA. Pilots and people who know use it. It's all wrapped up nicely in their format. Haven't a clue what television folks do, don't watch.

North wind fish on north bank. South wind fish on south bank. West wind fish on West Bank. East wind fish on east bank. Simple enough forecast.
