Whatever the forecast says the wind is at Sardis......I always double it , then its pretty close lol
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I understand sardis is no fun being pounded by the waves trying to catch fish. Just ain't worth it for me. If its 10 mph and up and the fish are deep I won't go. Save it for another day.
At Sardis it depends on the wind direction and where they read the wind speed. If it's out of the west they measure the speed at the dam. Holiday lodge will seem like 2-3 times that. If the wind is out of the east they measure the speed at Wyatts, and at the dam it will seem like 2-3 times that.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
Usually for me, a 10-15 or higher from ANY direction is a no go day. It is not worth the aggravation of fighting the wind...........really takes the fun out of our sport.
