I understand the concern about the rebar but there is a better chance of more walking trails than them removing the stuff besides the ones who put the stuff out would just put more out . As for the beach at Madison landing it used to be used like that But things went south there a few years back . I remember they found a girls body in the bath room there long ago . I'm for better piers and more paved parking that you can park and open your doors without hitting truck next to you are when the guy parked next to you backs out he doesn't take the rear of your trailer off . We all know that the money could go for good causes for boaters but will they use it for that ? But if they do collect the fee's they want be able to say we don't have the funds .

New on the board, but not the lake. I would like to see the ramps improved and other common areas, but my guess is that the $ will be used for more Rez Patrol, pay raises, and very few improvements to the existing common areas and actual lake itself.

Wow, rebar? Where did it come from and why? Where is it located? I know that the last question may be impossible to answer. But is it in one general location or spread throughout the Rez?

Braden, the rebar is scattered all over the Rez although it is more concentrated in the oil well woods, three prong, and saddle bags areas. It was put there a long, long time ago by some ignorant folks who were marking stumps. A lot of it nowadays is either bent over or broken off just underneath the waters surface.

Thanks, I had no idea. I am not very familiar with the Rez, but am trying to learn. Where are those areas? I have read an earlier post about the oil well woods that referenced its location to the s curve. Is the s curve referring to the s curve of the main channel just below 43 bridge?

to think that very much of this money that is collected will be used the way you want it to be used it just not realistic. The money spent to put this program in motion, the money spent to pay someone to tend to it and so on and so on will eat the majority of it up, bet there wont be 5% of it spent on improvements, just the way gubberment works, aint yall learned nuttin yet????

the areas I mentioned are about 1/2 down the lake from hwy 43, but their is plenty in other areas also. It seems to mostly be concentrated around the deep water stump fields. I'm aware that you are new to the Rez and am not trying to scare you. Just navigate with caution, especially when you are in the middle of a stump field.
