Default Hit and miss crappie/ spawn

Hit and miss crappie on arkabutla with fry everywhere. Do you think the spawn has come and gone?

Waded Arkabutla yesterday, caught nothing but eggless females. Fattest crappie I have ever caught. Caught only one male and only three shorts.

I have fished Butla this year on several occasions and didn't do so well myself,,,, after the draw down last winter,,, I'm surprised to see any fish this year,,,,, They drew that dude down Low Low..I would try either Hurricane creek or opposite end way down deep in those river channels,,,

That's my point. Catching eggless fish and fry around every tree you fish. Seems like the spawn has come and gone. I'm new to crappie fishing catching 5-10 fish a trip but never 2 fish from the same hole. Lol

With a lake doing this, it makes it very challenging to figure out for sure. Been my experience, Butla usually spawns out after Sardis and I don't think the Sardis spawn is really in full swing yet--based on my fish counts!!!
