Default Grenada and Enid lake bank fishing?

I've always fished from a boat or waded for crappie but I took my wife and kids to Bryant boat ramp the other day to see if we could luck up and catch some crappie and they absolutely loved it. My question is where else has easy access with a vehicle and not to snakey so that I can take them? It has to b a short walk, I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old so no rough terrain or rocks. Any help with the honey holes sure would be appreciated! thanks!

Several places close to Bryant, one is just up stream on Turkey creek. When you are driving in to Bryant there will be an old country church on the left, take a left there then take an immediate right, go to the end of that road and take a left, this is old HWY 7. Follow it around and take the next right, you will drive by a slogh on the left, then take the next right and follow this road until you get to Turkey Creek. Should be able to do this in a 2 wheel drive truck without any problem whatsoever. Good luck and enjoy the time with your family.

yes sir, I know where your talking about. that is actually where we were fishing, the boat ramp was packed so we went over there, only problem was the water is up so high once you get close to the creek you cant drive any farther, the road was flooded.

Instead of taking that last right turn just go straight then, you will come to a duck pond on the left and the drain runs under the road (Clabber Ditch) and runs into Turkey Creek, should be able to get to the creek pretty easy there.

Are there any other places we could go besides Bryant? What about on Enid lake?

At Enid, if you are coming from Water Valley cross Billy's creek then turn on the first road to your right. Then turn right on the first gravel road. It will take you back to Billy's creek. If the water is in the creek banks you can walk a good ways toward the lake. There was high grass and mud holes everywhere the last time I was there.

Where Canebreaker is talking about is a good place when the water is high enough. I was down there last Friday and the water wasn't high enough for me. It needed a few more feet, but it has risen since then. So if you can't decide anywhere else, it might be worth a try. Good fishing in there.

I've been at Billy's creek when if your minnow was more than 4 inches in the water you wouldn't get a bite. Then again if the minnow wasn't 12 foot 1/2 inch you were deep enough.
