    Default New Crappie Jig

Has anyone here ever fished with a crappie jig with no lead. It is a plain jig hook tied like any other jig just without the weight added.

I failed to mention that the tournament fishermen at washington were using these on their trolling rigs.

Gnat, Minner Critter, Minner Teaser, becoming very popular in the trolling community. Donnie has been tieing them for 4 or 5 years I know, think Meatgetter started after that, Slater's jigs started last year and now Arkie Lures is tieing them. Donnie has a thread in the member sponsors board here, not sure about where to look at Meatgetters stuff, Slater's either, and Arkie has them on their website in the crappie/panfish section. Donnie and Arkie are both sponsors of this site, Meatgetter is too most likely but not sure about that.

They are teasers.....they are not new.....I am 70 years old and my Dad and I were useing teasers when I was ten years old. They have been around forever just being called different names now. They are very good to use tipped with minnows. I have a bunch that Donnie at Crappielogic made for me and I really like them.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
