    Default Hotels near Arkabutla

Heading down in mid-April and wanted to get your guys' thoughts on hotels near Lake Arkabutla. I have never been to the area, but I'm throwing together a three day fishing trip with some buddies. Seems the best option (for the money/quality) is to stay near Tunica/Robinsonville area? I'm leaning toward the Best Western as I've generally had good experiences with them. Anyone have any input, good or bad? I'm flexible, but wanted to stay near the north end of the state. Any input would be appreciated.

Default Depends on what you want to do other than fish.

If you want to go to casino's also, then by all means that should be fine. If your coming just to fish, then staying along 55 opens you to much easier drives to Arkabutla, Sardis and Enid. Hotels in Southaven or Hernando are nice if you are just fishing Arkabutla and maybe want to go to Memphis. If you want to fish the others, Senatobia, Sardis or Batesville might be better.

Send Feelay a PM. He can tell you about Motels around Hernando. Drive straight to lake from there.

Casinos don't interest me, I can't afford to waste any money on non-crappie fishing gear, lol. I will look a little harder near Hernando and senatobia. Thanks for the info!

Ryan, did you get the number on that cabin ad? Someone had to delete it.

Goodman Rd. Southaven/Horn Lake exit on I-55 has about 6 motels on each side. You'll be 20 to 30 miles from any ramp you want to use.
I have space in my yard for overnight boat parking and charging south of the Goodman Rd exit.
