    Default Rez Question

I went to an area that I had never been to before at the Rez. From Lost Rabbit, I cruised north by the Trace until I got to an open water area by the Trace. We were scouting areas to troll for stripers and crappie. There are some pilings in the area that go into the Rez. The pilings show up on the map software. Do they mark a channel to the main channel markers that go toward Highway 43? Is this a cut through as to avoid the flooded timber? This was a nice area. I have been more adventuresome since I installed a HB 898 on the 'toon. It is nice to have GPS.

    Thank you for your help.

    James

We were next to the Trace. We were up by the small bridge on Trace. There was a clearing where you could see the Trace. I will attach a map image later.

Looked on Google Earth Street view and it shows the posts at the bridge. Guessing channel markers but I don't think I've ever been in that spot on the lake before

Here is a map with the pilings circled. I added an arrow showing the direction to highway 43 and to Lost Rabbit.

    Thank you.

Thanks. That is what I assumed. I wanted to be sure before I venture too much in that area. It is not fun having a pontoon in the trees. LOL! I am still learning to troll for crappie and the elusive hybrids.

LOL, yeh a toon and trees don;t play well together. We looked here 3 or 4 weeks ago for a few hours and never found those Stripers. I'll let ya know if I fond them anytime soon. My wifes wanting to catch some so we can do Fish and chips. Crappie just don;t hold up to a beer batter.
