Is the AA considered a legal Floatation Device ( PFD) by the Coast Guard, and the Corp?
It's not sold as a flotation device, but it does float you. I still wear my inflatable. It my be too warm for some of the tougher crowd, but it sure keeps an old fart like me warm.

I have to add something to keep my ears warm. Oh, you thought that was what the earmuffs were for?
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

Thx Mike, but do you Have to wear a PFD on the corp lakes while the main engine is running? The ad said the AA would float you and two more people.

You still have to abide by the same rules for PFD use.

Bottom line is they ALL make nice gear. Just do your research JW, and pick what YOU like best. I like the flotation idea of the AA, but if you fall overboard in frigid water, you've got about 20 minutes. They could find your body sooner if you're floating tho if ya don't get back in the boat and can't get to some warm clothes or your truck.

BE SAFE IN THIS COLD WEATHER!!!!!
