    Default Tunica

Making plans on going fishing at Tunica cutoff in May. Will my 14' StarCraft semi-v with a 20 HP Johnson be good enough to fish safely? I enjoy trolling, does anyone troll at the cutoff or is there too many "jumping" fish in the lake to troll without wearing a helmet? With some luck I hope to catch a mess of lb. bluegills to brag about!

Lots of jumping carp. Your boat will be fine.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

All of it really depends on the river. Your boat should be big enough but if you want to catch some bream I wouldn't recommend trolling for them.

Thanks everyone for you comments. I don't troll for bluegill. I like to troll because I never know what I might catch as well as do some sight seeing. I hooked a 25 lb. catfish once trolling. I was hoping it was a bass!
