I have stayed in several hotels there and they were boater friendly with parking and electrical hook ups. I have eat at that steak house in the above post and it is a really good steak and your right its not much to look at.

Im staying at the Quality Inn because it is one of the host hotels and it is 67 a night which I thought was a fair price. When you get your res. be sure you tell you will be fishing in the tourny because they usuall give us a better price.

The last time I ate at Reuben's it was awful. A few years ago it changed hands and I haven't heard a lot of good reports since. During tournaments I see a lot of boats parked at the motel behind the Shell Station right off the 45-82 intersection, not sure what the name is. Agree on Old Hickory, not much to look at, but a good steak at a reasonable price.

thanks for the update GWDawg1, i almost did not include Reuben's because it's been a long time since i was there. I also forgot to include Harvey's (never had a bad meal there).

Rubens is terrible. Harvey's and Hucks are the best to me in Columbus.

I lives here so I don't no nuthin bout the hotels other than the fact, if ya wanna keep what ya got, ya better sleep with it. It don't matter which hotel ya stayin at. Well I guess it does, don't stay down town at all. If it ain't on HWY 45 N, you had better try to get the boat in the room with ya.

And J W, I was snoopin round in yo boat tonight. You left it in a slum neighborhood didn't ya?
