    Default Question on pulling cranks!

I saw a guy pulling cranks of the Tennessee River below the dam at Pickwick. He was pulling cranks with the current, I thought it would be better to pull against the current. Which is best or does it matter?

Fish swim into the current so that seems the way to pull your cranks, but I pull in both directions doing figure eights or race track patterns.

That is exactly why you should fish down current. The fish you are trying to catch are looking in that direction. If you go into the current, you are bringing the bait from behind them
