Glad you enjoy fishing that way, I do too, but when you have eight poles out the front of the boat and hit a school of fish..... Well that can be rather exciting too!

I know some of you guys enjoy trolling and pulling cranks, but I have to say out of all the fishing I have done in my life that catching crappie on a jig pole where you can feel the bite and fight the fish is the best. I love it! I enjoy using a spinning rod and a floater as well, love to see that cork go down, but the single jig pole is the bomb.

I'm glad you have found a method you enjoy. Most people i"on this board have a sporting, perfectly legal, method they enjoy.
I enjoy both methods. It just depends on what body of water that I'm on.

I enjoy the feel of the thump when they hit that pole . You only get that if you have it in you hand . To me it is all 4thethump.
CATCH THEM ALL.
You can still feel the thump when you are trolling if you keep your hand on the rod holder!

To each their own, for me it's about catching fish and learning to be productive. I do enjoy single-poling and is what I do in the spring but as the summer approaches I will be trolling.

I bet you can . Ain't nothing like it .
CATCH THEM ALL.
we all have our favorite ways of catch'n them, to be a true feeshrman it's best to master several techniques, as no one method works 100%. Who knows, you may just find another "favorite" way to enjoy the sport we all care so much about.
