Only thing about Rose Trail, Ted the boat ramp is closed right now, they are redoing it, not sure when they are going to reopen it, looks like they are about done though, maybe soon.

Dang, watching the weather, rain. It may kill the fishing on friday. Get a motel room. Have to wait and see. But can always fish all day saturday. It's just over 100 miles, about like driving to grenada for the day.

I drive up there for half days all the time. I'll leave Memphis around 1:30...on the water by 3:00...fish til 8:00 or 9:00. It's a really easy drive.

I've driven it a bunch too. To Corinth then north to Pickwick. Past it to Huntsville, Chattanooga or Birmingham. It's a nice drive.
I've driven to Grenada for a 4 to 5 hour fishing trip won't be much difference. About 15 to 20 miles farther.
