    Default jig fishing @ Barnett this weekend


    Anyone know of any places I could carry a friend from south MS tomorrow on Barnett to catch some crappie for him to carry home?

    It's gonna be pretty hard to get any info from people about Barnett today. The MCC has a tournament there tomorrow. All the boats will be putting in at HWY 43, so it may be a little crowded, but that is where I would try first. Just go under the bridge and fish around the river run. Shouldn't bee too hard to find where to fish if they are biting. Just look for all the other boats.

    try upriver if you know any places. Look for trees laid over in the outside parts of curves. My brother caught a bunch of decent fish up bout a mile south of lowhead on a lay down
